Last Updated: 23/04/2026

This website is operated by Retro Radius LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (EIN: 36-5175352), registered at 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801. This Privacy Policy describes how Retro Radius LLC collects, uses, protects, and shares your personal information when you visit our website or make a purchase (collectively, the “Site”). This policy is designed to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, and the Wyoming Consumer Protection Act (W.S. 40-12-101 et seq.).

1. Categories of Personal Information We Collect

When you interact with Retro Radius, we collect data both automatically and actively, in the following categories:

  • Device & Browsing Information: Automatically collected upon visiting the Site. Includes browser type, IP address, time zone, cookie configuration, pages viewed, and referring search terms or websites.

  • Order & Payment Information: Collected when you make or attempt a purchase. Includes your name, billing address, shipping address, encrypted payment data (credit card strings, PayPal, Apple Pay, or Google Pay accounts), email address, and phone number.

  • Customer Support Information: Data generated when you contact our support team via email or chat, subscribe to our newsletter, or submit product reviews.

2. Purposes of Data Use and Legal Basis

We process your personal data only on valid legal bases and for specific, defined purposes:

  • Order Fulfillment (Contractual Necessity): We use Order Information to complete transactions — coordinating packaging, generating shipping labels, processing payments, and providing invoices or order confirmations.

  • Fraud Prevention & User Experience Optimization (Legitimate Interest): We use Device Information, including IP addresses, to screen for fraudulent transactions and to analyze site interactions for interface improvements.

  • Marketing & Advertising (Consent): Only where you have opted in, we use your email address to send newsletters, trend updates, and targeted promotions. You may withdraw consent at any time.

3. Sharing Your Information with Third Parties

We share your Personal Information only with carefully selected Data Processors, with whom we have established Data Processing Agreements (DPAs):

  • Shopify Inc.: Our e-commerce platform, which processes and encrypts transaction data. See Shopify’s Privacy Policy for details.

  • Logistics & Fulfillment Partners: Your name, address, and phone number are transmitted via secure protocols to our international workshop and logistics partners solely for the purpose of printing shipping labels and completing delivery.

  • Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand site navigation patterns. You may opt out via your browser’s preference settings or the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Retro Radius LLC does not sell your personal data to third parties for their own marketing purposes. As a US-registered entity, we are subject to the FTC Act’s prohibition on unfair or deceptive practices in connection with data handling.

4. Cookie Management & Tracking Technologies

Retro Radius uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — to remember your shopping cart, regional preferences, and enhance your overall experience.

For visitors from EU/UK regions or the state of California, a Consent Management Platform (CMP) banner appears on your first visit, giving you full control to “Accept All,” “Reject” non-essential cookies, or “Customize” your cookie preferences. Your choice does not affect your ability to browse standard product pages.

5. Your Data Rights (Data Subject Requests)

Regardless of your location, Retro Radius respects your rights over your personal data. In accordance with GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA/CPRA standards, you hold the following rights:

  • Right to Access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.

  • Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or outdated personal information.

  • Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): Request deletion of your personal data, subject to the legal retention obligations described in Section 6.

  • Right to Withdraw Marketing Consent: Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the “Unsubscribe” link in any marketing email, or by contacting us directly.

  • Additional Rights for California Residents (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what personal information is collected, used, shared, or sold; the right to delete personal information held by us; the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (Retro Radius LLC does not sell personal data); the right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights; and the right to correct inaccurate personal information.

How to submit a request: Email our Data Protection Officer (DPO) at privacy@retroradius.com.

Response timeline: We will acknowledge your request within 72 hours of receipt and fulfill it within 30 calendar days for GDPR/UK GDPR requests, and within 45 calendar days for CCPA/CPRA requests (California residents). In cases of exceptional complexity or high volume, we may extend the GDPR timeline by a further 30 calendar days or the CCPA timeline by a further 45 calendar days. We will notify you in writing before the initial deadline expires, stating the reason for the extension.

6. Data Retention & Security

Order information, including transaction records, shipping details, and payment confirmation data, is retained for a minimum period of 7 years from the date of the transaction in compliance with applicable tax, accounting, and commercial record-keeping laws (including US IRS requirements and equivalent obligations in other jurisdictions). This legal retention obligation takes precedence over any Right to Erasure request submitted under GDPR Article 17(3).

Upon receiving an erasure request, we will delete or anonymize all personal data elements not subject to a legal retention obligation (e.g., marketing preferences, communication history, browsing data) while maintaining the legally required transactional record in a restricted-access archive.

All financial payment transactions are encrypted using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) security. Retro Radius does not directly store raw credit card numbers on our servers; all payment data is processed by PCI-DSS compliant international payment gateways.

Data Breach Notification: In the event of a security breach involving personal data, Retro Radius LLC will comply with all applicable breach notification laws, including: (a) GDPR Article 33 — notification to the relevant EU supervisory authority within 72 hours; (b) Wyoming Data Security Breach Notification Act (W.S. 40-12-501 through 40-12-502) — notification to affected Wyoming residents in the most expedient time possible; and (c) applicable US state breach notification laws for customers in other states. Where a breach poses a high risk to affected individuals, we will notify those individuals directly without undue delay.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our data processing practices or applicable legal requirements. For material changes that affect how we use your personal data, we will provide at least 30 days’ prior written notice via email to the address associated with your account, where practicable. The updated policy will also be posted to our website with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Your continued use of our services following the effective date of the revised policy constitutes acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the revised policy, you may request account deletion in accordance with Section 5.
