What is the origin of Retro Radius’s products? Where will my order be shipped from?
Retro Radius operates on a global fulfillment network model. To maintain competitive pricing and the diversity of our collections, the majority of our products are packaged and dispatched directly from our partner fulfillment centers located in manufacturing hubs across Asia. This eliminates intermediate warehousing costs in North America or Europe, passing those savings on to you directly.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Shipping is a two-stage process. First, every order undergoes a 2–4 business day quality control (QC) and multi-layer reinforced packaging process before dispatch. After the parcel leaves the warehouse, standard international delivery takes 7–14 business days for Tier 1 destinations (US, Canada, UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand), and up to 20 business days for Tier 2 destinations (rest of the world). Please note that these are estimated timelines; actual delivery may be impacted by customs clearance, carrier capacity, or force majeure events as described in our Shipping Policy.
Will I receive a tracking number to monitor my package?
Yes. As soon as your order is scanned for dispatch from the warehouse, our system will automatically send you a “Shipping Confirmation” email with a unique tracking number. You can use this number on our “Track Your Order” page or directly on the carrier’s website. Please note: due to carrier satellite system update schedules, it may take 24–72 hours for the first transit scan to appear on the tracking interface.
Why might I receive only part of my order?
If your order contains multiple product lines with different material characteristics (e.g., a canvas print and a ceramic lamp), they are likely produced and dispatched from different specialized workshops within our network. We apply a split-shipment strategy to maximize safety for each material type and to accelerate customs clearance. Each parcel is assigned its own independent tracking number so you can monitor each shipment individually. Please see our Shipping Policy for full details on split shipments.
Can I cancel my order or change my shipping address after placing it?
Due to our rapid order processing, you have a 12-hour window from the moment of order placement to request a cancellation or address amendment. After this window, the order data is locked, the invoice has been generated, and the parcel may already be in transit — at which point we lose the ability to intervene.
Important — Address Accuracy Responsibility: You bear sole responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of the shipping address provided at checkout. Retro Radius ships to the exact address submitted. In the event of non-delivery or misdelivery caused by an incorrect or incomplete address entered by the customer, Retro Radius is not liable and will not issue a refund or reshipment. To request a change, email support@retroradius.com immediately with subject line: URGENT — Address Correction — Order #XXXX.
My ceramic or glass item arrived damaged. What should I do?
We sincerely apologize if you encounter this situation. To ensure we can process your claim accurately and efficiently, please follow all steps below without exception:
Step 1 — Preserve all packaging and broken pieces immediately. Do NOT discard the outer carton, foam inserts, or any broken fragments. These materials are required for our carrier insurance claim and quality control verification. Disposing of them before your claim is assessed will render it ineligible for remedy.
Step 2 — Report within 48 hours. You must submit a damage report to support@retroradius.com within 48 hours of the carrier system recording your delivery as “Delivered.” Reports submitted after this window are not eligible for processing.
Your report must include all three of the following:
- A panoramic photo showing all exterior surfaces of the outer packaging/carton.
- A close-up photo of the shipping label affixed to the box (tracking number and address must be clearly visible).
- Clear close-up photos or video of the specific damage or defect on the product.
Step 3 — Await our assessment. Our support team will review your documentation within 1–2 business days. If the damage is verified and all conditions are met, we will — at our sole discretion — arrange a priority replacement or process a full refund at no additional cost. We may request the damaged item be returned, or we may authorize a returnless resolution depending on the nature and extent of the damage.
Note: Claims submitted without the required photographic evidence, or after the 48-hour reporting window, will not qualify for replacement or refund under this policy.
I received the product undamaged but the color doesn’t match my space. Can I return it?
A: Yes — a change-of-mind return may be initiated, provided all of the following eligibility conditions are satisfied:
- The return request is submitted within 5 calendar days of the carrier-confirmed delivery date (or 14 calendar days for EU/UK customers).
- The item is completely unused, unassembled, and returned in its original, undamaged manufacturer’s packaging with all inserts and tags intact.
- A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number has been obtained from our support team before shipment.
Please review our full Return & Refund Policy for applicable deductions (original shipping fee + 20% restocking fee). To avoid the 20% restocking fee, you may elect to receive your refund as Store Credit at 100% of the product’s purchase price, valid for 12 months
Will I need to pay customs duties?
All listed prices on our store are exclusive of import duties, VAT, and local customs clearance fees. When a cross-border parcel arrives in your country, the local customs authority may require payment of these charges before releasing the parcel for delivery. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for any such customs duties and taxes applicable in your country of residence. Retro Radius has no authority over your country’s tariff policies and cannot calculate, pre-pay, or reimburse these charges on your behalf.
Important: If you refuse to pay applicable customs duties, resulting in the parcel being held, returned, or destroyed by customs authorities, Retro Radius will not issue a refund or reshipment for that order. Please review your country’s import duty thresholds before placing your order.
